Process Engineer Payment

One of our clients in the banking sector is looking for a process engineer. The candidate should be able to handle both business and process analysis, while well documenting an E2E view and bringing together business needs, capabilities, technology and processes in an efficient and effective manner.

 

  • Define and implement new business (sub)processes, aligned with Business Architecture principles and the bank's strategic objectives.
  • Adjust and improve existing processes as needed.
  • Continuously enhance processes with a focus on customer satisfaction, efficiency, and risk management.
  • Contribute to identifying application requirements and support testing when relevant to process improvements.
  • Monitor and evaluate existing processes using key indicators, customer feedback, and other inputs to identify potential improvements.
  • Conduct analyses and studies related to process definition, adjustment, improvement, and evaluation.
  • Communicate with all relevant stakeholders at appropriate times, including operational teams, to ensure process alignment and practicality.
  • Produce and maintain clear, accessible documentation to support standardized implementation, issue resolution, and process updates.
  • Ensure processes and documentation comply with internal and external regulations, including Legal, Compliance, Permanent Control, and General Inspection guidelines.

Profil attendu

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in technical writing and process modeling
  • Strong proficiency with modeling tools such as Visio and Aris; capable of producing clear and accurate flow charts
  • In-depth knowledge of the payments sector is required
  • Solid understanding of process improvement methods and techniques
  • Familiarity with risk management and internal control principles
  • Comfortable with testing activities and preparing demonstrations
  • Experience with SharePoint is an asset
  • Fluent in English and either French or Dutch
