Our client in the banking sector is looking for a Transaction Processing Team Business Manager with extensive knowledge of trade processing activities to review all tasks performed by the Trade Support team. The role involves reinforcing business-as-usual (BAU) operations to assist the team manager in steering daily activities, while ultimate responsibility remains with the manager. Additionally, the role includes conducting a comprehensive activity review focused on simplifying and automating tasks. The incumbent will challenge current processes, promote automation by leveraging internal specialists, and prioritise simplification to improve overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily activities and identify areas for operational improvement
- Assist the team manager in the coordination of day-to-day tasks
- Lead a structured review of existing workflows and processes
- Promote simplification and automation, working with internal optimisation resources
- Recommend and help implement process enhancements to support efficiency and quality
- Act as a subject matter expert in trade-related operations
