Business Analyst - Insurance (Perm/Freelance)

For a leading insurance company, we are looking for a Business Analyst with proven experience in life or non-life insurance. The Business Analyst will play a key role in translating business needs into functional requirements and ensuring alignment between stakeholders, IT, and operational teams.

 

  • Analyse and document business needs, processes, and requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications or user stories
  • Work closely with product owners, developers, testers, and operational stakeholders
  • Support the design and implementation of business and IT solutions
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions
  • Assist in the testing and validation phases (UAT, regression testing)
  • Ensure traceability and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

 

Profil attendu

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance sector (life or non-life)
  • Solid understanding of insurance products
  • Ability to gather and structure business requirements clearly and efficiently
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid project environments
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., BPMN, UML, Jira, Confluence)
  • Fluency in at least two of the following: Dutch, French, and English (written and spoken)
